平日有個習慣,覺得家中有需要購置新物品時,都會商討是否需要購買,或者有沒有避免買新的可能性。因為我們換了無火煮食,需要一個煎鍋。於是諗下周圍有邊度可以搵到二手。資深二手物品藏寶者大多會去 Asia Expat、Geoexpat 等。最近我去了環境保護署- 香港二手物品交易平台,最終搵到一個非常合心水的煎鍋,盛惠一百大元。我在這個平台看了很久,發現這個應該好少香港人用的平台都有好多、好多物品,於是再想每日 JUPYEAH 審批幾多物品,還是香港其他大大小小的平台和夜冷,二手物品真係何其多。但係每日耗用地球資源、製造過程構成污染、影響生態和人類健康的新物品更多是排山倒海,而過一排它們又會成為舊物的新軍。怎會不想到 CHRIS JORDAN 的作品,然後得到一個結論: WE HAVE TOO MUCH STUFF。問題係:在這個下下要買新物品的年代,WE HAVE WAY TOO MUCH OLD STUFF。
