Prepared for the toil, we finally delivered ALL leftovers from our March pop-up swap to a charity this weekend. Again this is one of the charity organizations we have been seriously considering for some time, it is Recycling Community Co-op 社區二手店 in the humble Sham Shui Po. A month ago Pete and I went to their shop for a look, and we found loads of people, obviously from the neighborhood, picking stuff from the shelves showing furniture, used clothes, and much other stuff at very cheap prices. At their allocation center this day, we saw many ladies working, so I guess the co-op does live up to its missions – to provide working opportunities for the grass-roots and to lessen the financial burden of the poor.
