At School: Our Lady of the Rosary Church

It was this Wednesday when we went to the lovely girls’ school to visit the pop-up swap there. It is Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Hong Kong’s first secondary school hosting swap events, and it was with the help of JupYeah (not much did I do though). So they set up a few tables on the hall balcony, where girls put together unwanted clothes and accessories. And I did spot some goodies. I don’t know what it means to the young or even their teachers who may be just too busy to think much about the environment. But this tiny bit of sharing can do the world a great deed. Thanks my lovely ex-PR friend and their alumni chairperson Angel for initiating it unconditionally.

After this drop by we had a serious talk about whether we could bring this message to other secondary schools as well. After all this generation is too blessed with affluent living. Inspiring them the right way can’t be the wrong thing.

I don’t know, let’s see. But happy swapping ladies.
