Pop Up Swap Spring 2013 open now!

Earlier this month we announced the details of the next JupYeah Pop Up Swap. It will take place on February 24, 2013 (Sunday as usual) at the very edgy arty place on Hollywood Road – The Space! The gallery space has been very supportive to charity projects in town, and is offering us to use this space where Chanel’s Little Black Jacket and British Council’s London Showrooms were hosted. It’s such a breakthrough to us because it’s our first event in Hong Kong Island!

Enjoying such a great venue this time, we have put things to higher ground as we always wanted. This time not only will we present an improved swap activity. We have joined with many inspiring, creative parties to make the event a different one. The Leftovers, an independent initiative dedicated to combat the food waste problem will treat our Juppers with previously collected but tastefully prepared delicacies. To prove change can be made as long as you take action, upcycling creatives including Memories Factory and Classicism will host an exhibition to showcase their stylishly green creativity. Negotiations with two more creative parties have not yet come to confirmation, so we will have to announce later. We are very proud to have Pong Yat Ming, the inspiring figure against real estate conglomerates, as one of our guest speakers at the sharing sessions for Juppers to attend besides exploring goods.

Music, as always, is an essential part. Having introduced talented musicians and a band last time to tell Juppers that there are good acoustic, Reggae and Bossa Nova in Hong Kong, we are delighted to introduce to you some of our DJ friends – DJ Bon, DJ Ngai and DJ Rib. In fact you may not know – deejaying is an important part of private parties between us core juppers. We often prepare music playlists for our festive home parties. After all, a party is not about expensive food, horny dance and stupid laughter. It’s more about enjoying the moment together, no?

And we look forward to enjoying the moments with you! Register for your Early Bird Pass at our event website before February 20th, 2013.
