JUPYEAH turns two today!! 今年作出很多前嘗試，徹底改變了一貫換物派對形式，得到多位出色建築師和設計師創作裝置，跟很多志同道合的機構和 activists 合作，登上上環 The Space，深入銅鑼灣鬧區，走上觀塘天橋底，蘊釀了足足一年的網站終於開通，認識了很多熱心可愛盡責的義工。為使反過度消費主義的意識得以紮根，我們主持過企業和學校講座、搞過迷你放映會，將收集得來的物品饋贈有需要的學生。當我們各有正職時，但這一年能夠做了這些新嘗試，完全多得每一位首肯跟我們合作的志同道合之士，更加少不得一班無條件幫手的朋友和 Helpers 們。但係革命尚未成功呢朋友，明年我們將會向前行好大步，直至能夠將消費和物質風氣減至最低，我們生活的地方能夠好好地分享東西為止。Thanks for your support through this year, but please don’t stop – we still need it.
膠袋徵費實行已久，大家本應全部習慣了向膠袋說不，或者意識到自己的雙手雙臂其實很發達，有能力成功拎住幾件物品返到屋企都冇穿冇爛，要少個膠袋包住凍食，隻手只會濕少少而唔會受傷。可是仍然偶有見到前面排隊俾錢位顧客仍然係咁要膠袋，拎住個 MIU MIU 買張卡係都要套多個膠袋，買包百力滋都要用袋入住先拎到、難道放入袋會重斷臂？那不只是浪費，是愚也。
除非我們住在堆填區，否則我們就不會感受到垃圾有多嚴重。但雖然我們沒有親身體驗到，世界上很多人仍然受垃圾嚴重威脅，海洋及陸上生物被嚴重危害。即使是遠離自己製造的禍害的我們，是不是完全沒有身受其害？ 2012 年最震憾的紀錄片《TRASHED》讓人認識垃圾問題如何危害人類社會及其他生物的安全、目前處理垃圾的方法帶來甚麼禍害，為甚麼我們常說REUSE、RECYCLE，但最重要還是 REDUCE。

今日《明報·通通識》版刊登了一個好有意義的專題「打開衣櫃 解構消費模式」。其實當已認識一段時間的通識版記者 Polly （她本身已是潮女一個）跟我提及這個專題構思，確是很高興原來教育版會做抽離校園、貼近年青人生活的題材﹗她認為買衫裝扮是每個年青人都會做的事，當中有很多具消費模式反思意義的訊息。談到這一點，我已經變成一個 chatterbox 喇。
